DESIGN
HVAC system design is a sub discipline of mechanical engineering, based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Refrigeration is sometimes added to the field’s abbreviation as HVAC, (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning).
HVAC design engineers are responsible for the design, configuration, operation, and pricing of building control systems, including heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics.
